Ruskin FSD60-M for Volume Control
Ruskin's FSD60-M is a combination fire and smoke damper,
that has been approved under the new UL testing specifications. The FSD60-M
is designed with airfoil blades and is equipped with either
electric or pneumatic modulating actuators that allow the Fire Smoke
Dampers to be used as volume control dampers. They can be installed
vertically in walls or horizontally in concrete floors in HVAC systems with
velocities to 2,000 fpm and pressures to 4" w.g.

Titus Insulated Diffusers
Titus has announced the TMS and TMS-AA square diffusers are
now available with R-6 insulation. Whenever the ceiling space is warm,
delivering conditioned air can result in condensation forming on the
diffuser face. To help prevent this from happening, insulation is the
answer.
The R-6 insulation is attached with adhesive applied on the
back pan edges and around the neck to reduce water accumulation under the
insulation. This vapor barrier will deter mold growth in between the
insulation and the back pan.
The insulated blanket was designed with a 1" gap around the
neck for attaching insulated duct. This is an option for surface mount,
lay-in, snap in, and spline borders, 24" x 24" full-face models only.
